Server Costs and AFM Future - jedi - 11-25-17 6:41 PM

All,

As a reminder for transparency the cost of the PUB server is $17.99/month and is paid monthly, the PUG server was able to be paid for a year through myself and other donations which amounts to $183.50/year (it's more if paid monthly.

The PUG renewal is coming up on Feb 2, 2018.

Again, donations aren't a mandatory thing to partake in our community but playtime has been down and I don't really want to pay myself for 2 servers that aren't being used a lot. So I'm seeing what opinions you guys have on the matter.

Options:
Others donate along with myself and continue to keep 2 servers up
Others donate along with myself and only keep one server up that can be used as both a PUB and PUG (like we did a little over a year ago)

Option 2 seems more reasonable at this point.

I am interested in putting some more work into the mod, but I was thinking more along the lines of resuming work on the CS:GO version.

I hate seeing how inactive the community has become and I'd be glad to try to revive it. The CS:GO mod honestly wasn't all that far away from completion when things fell apart, and I still have all of the necessary files to complete it. I just don't know if the interest is actually there anymore for a CS:GO mod, it kind of feels like I would be making it for nobody. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, though.

Make a YouTube video showing us the basic components of the mod, if people find interest I think AFM could make a comeback

I think we can all agree these NFL models are more detrimental to the mod than helpful. Its a huge turn off when charles woodson is still on the packers, aaron hernandez on the patriots etc...

At this point i say we just go back to t vs ct models.
