Donate the time to try to match the fucking insane amounts of code used for 1.6 into csgo. RE: AFM Version 8.0 Development - buttfumble - 5-11-15 3:42 PM Why would you want this game on cs:go? Game isn't broken no need to port it over to shitty cs:go physics. RE: AFM Version 8.0 Development - Calvin - 5-11-15 4:27 PM (5-11-15 3:42 PM)buttfumble Wrote: Why would you want this game on cs:go? Game isn't broken no need to port it over to shitty cs:go physics. i dont think porting afm to cs:go is not a question of brokenness of the game or its physics, but more about expanding the playerbase and creating a new refreshing experience where people must adjust to the new physics and find new and better ways of playing the game as a result of the different physics. porting over to cs:go also allows us to enhance the graphics and sounds of the mod, allowing for much more complex models and textures and maps with vastly improved details. this screenshot illustrates just how many people play cs:go rather than 1.6, which could most likely give the player base a massive boost and help elevate the competitiveness of the mod by introducing eager players into the game. RE: AFM Version 8.0 Development - jedi - 5-11-15 5:50 PM Wow 1.6 is top 15? RE: AFM Version 8.0 Development - buttfumble - 5-11-15 8:22 PM Whatever, its not going to happen. Thanks for the write up Calvin. I for one do not care about updated graphics and sounds. Game play is king which is why I never made the switch to Source or GO because game play wise they don't match up to 1.6 and never will. I can guarantee some of the vets would definitely never play again if there was a move to GO. Game would probably be boring as hell actually. Think about it what makes afm great. Making great plays by getting YAC and juking out your opponent, bhopping away from them, headcatching etc. - are these things even possible in CS:GO? Show me in what way the game would be fun and not just a bunch of Blazes running around .. boring AF. RE: AFM Version 8.0 Development - Arod - 5-12-15 2:18 AM Bring it to CS:GO homo. If you want the mod to live on, you must do this. |
