with that in mind the issue is that every "good" or "pro" player only plays within their own niche. thus why new people will RARELY get any sort of chance in any sort of competitive environment until maybe a few months to a year in when people start recognizing them not for their skill, but their name (familiarity). in terms of "manners" or "bm" i feel like that situation will never be fixed due to the troll nature of the pub server in general. The occasional bm in pug is slightly controversial but thats another tale for another time. Iv accepted that new players will never be helped in this community because of the amount of sudden expectation and bm people throw onto their back instantly. for fuck sake a new kid was even banned by an admin (wont name for the possible backlash because this admins is an unstable fuck) and had to be unbanned by another just because he was unsure of what was going on. Fact also being that the normal player base is too small to fill both the pub and pug at the same time. fuck even starting a pug sometimes is difficult due to having to rely on the same repeating players joining.
For myself every time i pug im either permanently moved on defence to defending a "newer" pug players due to the good players just not trusting me or just being pissed off that some one managed to get behind me even once. on multiple occasions iv been convinced that pug was not going to help me improve for multiple reasons and that working on fundamentals in pub was alot more worth it. So iv decided today that im going to be taking a long break because iv just flat out tilted tons lately from pretty much everything combined, or occasionally play pub so i dont completely rust to shit.
i know this is long but its the truth
I agree with this for the most part. The one thing i dont agree with is the majority of the time you do get switched on defense is yes you mightve let up a touchdown but also because the people on the team see that is just a mismatch in skill level between the wr and db.

if this was a csfl match. sure do what ever u can do negate a mismatch in wr-db skill. but in pug how am i supposed to learn in general what to do vs certain players or practice certain techniques if i dont even get the chance to do it vs a good player for a whole games worth of time??? if they cant even trust me to figure it out in a pug they'll never trust me when it truly maters

You disgruntled scrotum Death. That's the toxic, vile mindset that riddles like a disease through a well constructed community. If you took the plenty of time that you have spare, you'd of read my points and searched every element of earth for that hinder of initiative you may have and come up with a better response.
The PUBLIC server is not an establishment where we can learn our craft to get better anymore, all these peasants who would lie about their family being in a hostage situation just so they could rush home to get on the PUG server need to show as much desire for the PUBLIC server. It's comical to think that these bum bandits can look down upon another person due to their inability to move their fingers around W, A, S and D as rapid as them.
I think a day needs to be implemented once a week where the PUG server is closed for 24 hours and the PUBLIC server gets focused on thoroughly. Promote it. Let the rookies shine and display their talent. The community gets more attention, more emphasis on newcomers feeling comfortable and wanting to engage in tournaments. It's a win, win.

hamdan, my suggestion is to ask qb to throw u a certain route that u think will work; speak up. and if you get drafted by some qbs such as @Record he likes to call and teach players like you routes.

Im thrilled people take the mod competitively in terms of wanting to put in the effort to be good. But just keep in mind that the QB might also be just as competitive so if something on the defense isn't working he's the captain who is competitive and should tell people to switch. Really shouldn't be something taken much offense to. If this was the NFL and you were letting up multiple big plays you could just get taken off the field. If you take the PUG very competitively than these things should be expected.
