Here's a small tutorial for anyone that is wanting to make their own TD celebration music. I found it easiest to work in Audacity but Ive included the source mp3s so you can use any program. Ive also included Audacity but you can also download it for free from here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

First thing you do is download the source files
http://downloads/td.zip

Extract the zip and if you have Audacity installed, open td_template.aup

Goto File > Import > Audio and find the sound file you wish to use for the new TD song.
http://downloads/images/1.jpg

Now you need to crop the 9 seconds from the imported sound file. Its easiest if you use the Select start tool at the bottom of the screen. First select the second box (Length) and change it to 00 h 00 m 0.900 s. Now use the first box (Selection Start) to find the 9 seconds you are wanting to use. Add a few seconds at a time to find the exact point to start and finish.

Once you find the 9 seconds you are happy with, you have to crop them. Goto Edit > Remove Audio > Trim. Now cut the 9 seconds with Edit > Remove Audio > Cut.
http://downloads/images/3.jpg

Now go back to the Selection Start tool and change the first box (Selection Start) to 00 h 00 m 0.000 s, the second box (Length) doesnt matter. Now Goto Edit > Paste.
http://downloads/images/4.jpg

Now we need to add the fade in effect. Use the Selection Start tool and change the first box to 00 h 00 m 0.000 s and the second box to 00 h 00 m 1.500 s. Goto Effects > Fade In.
http://downloads/images/5.jpg

Now we will add the fade out effect. Use the Selection Start tool and change the first box to 00 h 00 m 7.000 s and the second box to 00 h 00 m 2.000 s. Goto Effects > Fade Out.

The sound is now complete. Use the Gain bar to adjust the volume of the sound file, incase its too loud or quiet.

Now you will extract the file as an mp3. The mp3 will be encoded in Lame so you may need to install the lame_enc.dll. Ive included it in the zip so you may need to place in the Audacity directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity) or your Windows directory (C:\Windows\System32). Goto File > Export
http://downloads/images/8.jpg

Change the Save as type to MP3 Files and change the Quality to 256kbps. Click ok and save the file wherever you like.

You are basically done, all you have to do now is place the song in your halflife directory. Go to your sound directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike\sound\afm) and rename the new song to td1.mp3 or whichever old song you wish to overwrite. If the directory (folder) does not exist then you must create it or use your other sound directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike_downloads\sound\afm). The old songs are named td1.mp3 through td10.mp3. Overwrite the old song with the new one and you are done.

You cannot make more than 10 because the mod only supports 10.

Minunat,

You have 2 options.

1) Navigate to the Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike\sound\afm directory. For most, this directory doesn't exist so you must create it (new folder) and then place your mp3 files in it.

2) Navigate to the Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike_downloads\sound\afm directory. This directory exists for every football mod player so all you have to do is drag your mp3 files in it and overwrite the old songs.

As for your question about wav files: no, wav files are not supported for touchdown songs.

I edited WhooKid's post to include the two different directory locations.
