The only thing Tom is not guilty of is conspiring to delay the match for his benefit. In having said that, I feel Toms ban is certainly justified.
This match was suppose to be done last Sunday, Toms schedule did not allow for that to happen which was perfectly fine, the deadline was extended to this Sunday that just passed.
Throughout the week I have made many attempts to schedule the game but for one reason or another it could not get done. I was willing to play everyday leading up to this Sunday and I am sure my team was ready to go as well.
However, the outlaws schedule did not allow for us to play during the week which was perfectly fine. People have lives, school, work, etc. Starting Wednesday night I was able to grab a hold of Jeff, we were able to come to agreement that the match would have to be played at 12 est on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. In knowing this, a date and time to play the match was still not met.
To be clear, Tom was out in a poor situation, though he played his hand irresponsibly. When I asked to play Saturday night it was refused and he expressed his desire to not even play the match. I let Manning know and he told me to ask him again tomorrow as it is the deadline. When I proceeded to ask about the match Tom again said he does not want to play and gave me good luck against Manning as I told him the previous days that Manning would not hesitate to replace him.
All in all, Tom flip flopped and wanted to play last second as the DQ already went through. Now, did Tom do anything wrong to the mod as a whole? My answer is yes as he bailed out on his team because of his unreluctancy to play and damaged the integrity of the mod.
TL DR : Tom deserves ban, length not needed 30 days IMO, sorry to the team of the Outlaws.
Now I gotta go back to not paying attention in class.
