There is a draft for a reason and there is a pub server. @HamdaN You're right in one aspect, this game has turned into a popularity game alongside skill but what you're missing is half these guys didnt know each other at the start. What makes you so different that you cant do what all of these "pros" did? Im not saying you don't deserve a shot, hell, you know ill pick you in a pug and even though i consider myself to be a high end defender and ill still rush.
Im just saying, think of the pug server as a 1v1 tournament. You start off with people on your level, if you win the first match you'll move on, if you lose then you restart. You have to work up, you can just expect to face the winner/boss on the first match. Sure if you face him enough times you'll learn how to beat him, but thats not getting better, thats just learning their patterns and being predictive of their moves.
Another thing that goes hand in hand with this subject is people complaining that someone new came first therefor they deserve to play in that pug. I used to have to wait 4-5 games before i got into a pug match when i started. I understand that if they dont get picked they'll be discouraged to join again but if they're serious about the mod then they will come back. Wake up people, its the pug server, its for competition, for the better of the players to face each other, not for a high level player to sit out because he came a second too late.
The people who start up the pug should always have a place in the pug. Without them there would be no pug.
