First off, let me apologize for the delay in the development of CS:GO and for the lack of updates. Peyton and I were waiting until the end of CSFL to take the next step, but he started being unresponsive and we had some disagreements when he finally did respond.

Now that that's out of the way, I've decided to take things into my own hands and start work on the new CS:GO map, essentially the CS:GO equivalent of stadium/stadiumtwo. I have the field area layed out, but I'm looking to you guys for suggestions on what the map should look like. I'm open to anything as long as it's realistic. The map, along with the first release of the mod, will be a beta version. I can't guarantee anything as far as these suggestions go, but I do want to hear from you guys.

For your time, some screenshots of the Rose Bowl stadium replica I made in CS:GO, for those who haven't seen it yet:

(I made this one to familiarize myself with mapping for the CS:GO engine. Keep in mind that these are screenshots of an unfinished map, I'd like for our new map to look even better.)

I should have put this in the original post, but actual stadium replicas aren't an option. I only made the rose bowl map to develop my mapping skills, it won't ever be used.

It's cool and i enjoy seeing these sweet looking maps but the most popular maps in cs1.6 were the more basic looking maps so I don't think you need to go all out and make something crazy

Also I know it's not just me but I didn't like the maps where the crowd were screaming those were annoying

The best 1.6 maps in my opinion were the ones that had one flat color on the crowd seating area that contrasts the field, like on fm_stadiumtwo, green field and one red color across the entire map for the seats.

Looks clean and easy to digest, clear distinction from a QBs perspective.

I think it would also be fun if the FG posts were narrowed because kicking a PAT/FG right now is a guaranteed make.... unless you're Peyton Manning.

And is there anyway in the world we can play from the spot of the ball like and put the hash-marks to use?!

Disgusting how no one compliments the level of effort put in to producing these glorious screenshots and news on the developments for the CS:GO Football Mod. Thank you Beaver Boys for your valiant efforts, I appreciate you giving us this vital information, I have a few queries and I wish for you to answer them if you would be so kind to;

* Will you be open to developing a new Money Map?, reasonably popular and an enjoyable field to play on.

* Will the beta offer each map a difference on the width of the field? Or are we focusing on just using one map?

* Will you keep us posted on what maps you may be working on next?

Once again, your hard work is worthy of my gratitude. Please bare in mind that comical responses to this thread should be immediately left unanswered and completely ignored until the individual who posted them looks in the mirror and rethinks their actions as well as their life.

If you could do a Fm_Gridiron it would be appreciated that's my favorite map. And it's got the potential to be a very sick looking map with your skills
