Deferring?

I think it should not always be on the team that gets the ball from the drop aka kick or receive. I think they should be able to defer to the other team if they want. I just want to see if anyone feels the same say if u like it or not in your post.

This change would not have much purpose. In the NFL, the term defer means that the team that won the coin toss has chosen to kick the ball. We too have this option. The only difference is that in the NFL, you can choose which side of the field to defend, while that option would be irrelevant in AFM.
