yellow has been caught using a cheat which dramatically improves his strafing, increases his speed, prevents slowing down, allows for automatic bhop and gstrafe and the ability to bypass the max fps settings along with many other options.

An admin executed the record command on him for further evidence, but yellow claims to have deleted the demo while reinstalling 1.6 - this demo showed evidence of the hack commands used in his console.

I believe this ban is unjust.. I have no clue that Yellow scripts and neither do you.. because there was no proof.. I can vouch for him on the fact he was having resolutions problems and black screens however I still don't see how this justifies a ban when he was not warned about a demo being taken nor does it say anywhere on the forums/server that a demo may be taken please do not delete your cstrike folder. So to ban him is completely unfair.

Yes he could of deleted it because he was scripting but given the circumstances I think that banning him for this just isn't right and I am very disappointed that if this is the only evidence you have against him you decided to go with a ban..

This isn't about 15 days away from the game this is about someone who will forever be thought of as a scripter(even more so than now) because of a demo that wasn't submitted.

This is coming from someone who has previously made statements about his speed in the server..

How does it work?

An admin will use a command that will force a player to record a demo on their computer without the player's knowledge. The admin will then use a credible third party program to analyze the demo for any abnormalities. This program will reveal if the player was using any sort of script or hack at the time of the demo's recording.

Who will be recorded?

Anyone can be recorded at any time, even the admins. Recordings may be random or coordinated based on suspicion. Players may be recorded more than once regardless of their past results. Think of this as a drug test.

What happens after the analysis?

A thread will be made about the player and it will be stated whether the player was cheating or not. The demo will be attached to the post along with a screenshot of the results from the analysis. If caught cheating, the player will be banned for 15 days if it's their first offense.

What if the demo is not submitted?

Everyone that plays in the PUG server must comply with the rules and this one is no exception. If a player chooses NOT to submit a demo and ignore an admin's request, they WILL be banned as if they were caught cheating.
