Unfortunately, AFM CS:GO is not happening.
I agreed to work on the CS:GO expansion with @
Beaverboys under the terms that he understood his role in the project.
I've invested a lot of my time in building the 1.6 community and at times it got overwhelming. The reason I agreed to work on the CS:GO expansion with @
Beaverboys is because I would have much less of a workload and thus the abiliy to focus on other aspects of the community. I agreed to this under the terms that he understood his role in the project. Nobody wanted this to happen more than me, which is why I invested around $500 of my own money to buy @
Beaverboys a new PC so that he can produce the highest quality of work.
However, I chose to walk away from the project because I do not want to work on something that is bound to fail. @
Beaverboys wanted to influence the mod in a way that would be greatly detrimental to gameplay. He never listened and always argued. @
Beaverboys was incapable of comprehending his role and thus became impossible to work with.
Over the last few months there has been little progress because @
Beaverboys has been trying harder than ever to sabotage the mod with his whacky ideas instead of working on the tasks that I specified. I thought that he would have a greater understanding of his role after he wasted countless hours working on his 3 failed 1.6 servers.
I'm offering a refund to those that donated. Feel free to request it
here.
The 1.6 servers will remain online as long as people want them to. As usual, the leftover donation money will be used on community expenses. If and when I undertake the expansion of AFM, you will all be notified via the emails that you used to sign up to this site.
